16th International Eclogite Conference

IEC-16 continues the series of International Eclogite Conferences, held in different countries since 1982 and devoted to the study of high- and ultrahigh-pressure rocks. It will take place in July 2027 in Galicia, northwest Spain, where the allochthonous complexes bring eclogites, high-pressure granulites, blueschists and mantle rocks together within a short distance of one another.

We look forward to welcoming you to Galicia for a few days of scientific exchange, discussion and, of course, the opportunity to discover these remarkable rocks together in the field.
